So, now Niagara Falls is on its own high-wire act: Can it do what is necessary to bring a Wallenda family entertainment center to the city or will it stumble, allowing the other Niagara Falls – the thriving one that knows how to make the most of a good thing – to pilfer this golden opportunity?
Nik Wallenda, good as his word, returned to Niagara Falls last week for the first time since his thrilling high-wire walk over the waterfall on June 15.
At a press conference on Goat Island, he discussed his hope to open a “semi-permanent” entertainment center in Niagara Falls as early as next summer, perhaps in a circus-style tent.
