From the Niagara Falls Review:
It has had its fair share of ups and downs, but that’s sort of symbolic for the Pile Driver.
The Clifton Hill thrill ride that sent those who dared to be shot 200 feet up into the air and plummet back down again at high speeds has been out of commission since the end of the 2010 tourist season
But Doug Birrell, president of Canadian Niagara Hotels, the owner of the property, said it should be back up and running around the beginning of August.
“We are reengineering it to simplify it, make it run better and faster,” said Birrell.
