Wire-walking history is about to be made again at Niagara Falls.
Jay Cochrane begins the first of his 80 death-defying walks between two hotel towers this summer at 7 o’clock tonight in Niagara Falls, Ont. When he does, he will also be performing the longest (1,300 feet) and highest (581 feet) building-to-building wire-walk in North American history.
Unlike Nik Wallenda, who walked across the Niagara Gorge on June 15, Cochrane won’t be wearing a tether. He will be suspended 60 stories above pavement on an inch-wide wire while holding a 40-foot-long balancing pole.

Did anyone notice how wide Wallenda’s wire was? It was 4 inches, (as wide as his foot), compare that to Cochrane’s 1 inch wire.

His wire was actually 2 inches, not 4 inches. I don’t know where you’re getting your “facts” from.
