Daredevil takes flight in the Falls

From the Niagara Falls Review:

Many visitors to Niagara Falls say one of the best ways to view the city is from the air.

As such, Rob Roy Collins is looking forward to taking his first helicopter ride when he visits Niagara on Wednesday.

The 33-year-old’s trip, however, will be a little different than most flights.

The British daredevil will attempt to escape from a straitjacket while suspended by his ankles from a helicopter at Niagara Helicopters.

“I am very excited to come over to Niagara, I have visited before as a tourist and I loved it. I am just hoping the helicopter pilot will treat me to a trip over the falls,” he said in an e-mail to The Review.

Collins, who hails from northern England, will attempt the risky routine to promote the upcoming St. Catharines International Busker Festival.
