Niagara Idol hits stage at Oakes Park

From the Niagara Falls Review:

Some hope to be discovered, while others just enjoy the opportunity to perform in front of a live audience.

Whatever their reason, 11 finalists were given the opportunity to showcase their talents during the Niagara Idol Finale held Saturday at Oakes Park in Niagara Falls.

Last week, more than 40 Niagara-based solo acts took to the Niagara Idol audition stage at Dave & Buster’s on Clifton Hill to perform in front of three judges for a chance to win a grand prize valued at more than $1,500.

After some tight scoring and judging, a total of 12 performers advanced to the Niagara Idol Finale which took place on the main stage at the Women Who Care for Project SHARE at Oakes Park.
