Friends of Niagara Glen organize clean-up day

From Niagara This Week:

When the sun comes out and the snow finally melts, revealing the earth beneath, most Niagara residents feel the immediate desire to head outdoors.

After months of being cooped up because of the early sunsets and often dreary weather, a nice spring day is a welcomed wake up call. Friends of the Niagara Glen are hoping enthusiastic Niagarans will come out for the Earth Day event on April 9. Taking place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the event will feature informative displays and tree planting. Taking place at Niagara Glen Nature Reserve, the event is free to the public and open to all.
