More than 70 workers who provide valet and parking services at the Hilton Hotel in Niagara Falls will be out of work on April 30.
The employees, some of whom have worked at the hotel for more than 10 years, were notified by letter this week that their jobs will be contracted out to another company, Niagara Falls Valet Services.
Martin Letourneau, 48, a union steward who has worked at the hotel four years, said he expected there might be job losses when the new tower opened with a new garage, but he never imagined that all of their jobs would be gone.
