Doubletree Niagara Falls Visited By Olympic Torch Relay

Earlier this week I was sent this by the Doubletree Fallsview Resort & Spa by Hilton:

The City of Niagara Falls was selected as one of only 200 host celebrations communities across Canada for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Torch Relay.

On Sunday, December 20, the Olympic Flame passed in front of the Doubletree Fallsview Resort & Spa by Hilton, with hundreds of spectators cheering it on. The longest Olympic Torch Relay to take place in a single country began its route in Victoria, British Columbia. The Olympic Flame will travel by land, air and water during its 106 day journey.

The Niagara Falls celebration coincided with the Doubletree Holiday Staff Party and presented the opportunity for team members to have their photo taken with the torch after the relay, and to view the special Olympic fireworks display from the event room hosting the staff party. One of the two relay runners who were guests at the Doubletree, included Hilton HHonors Diamond VIP member, Denzil Croning.
