From the Niagara Falls Review:
Towering over its neighbours, the new Hilton hotel has changed the look of Niagara Falls. But it’s the way the city has changed in the past decade that made it possible for the DiCosimo family to build it, company officials say.
The 53-storey Hilton Hotel and Suites is open for business this weekend, after more than three years of construction.
It’s not only the tallest building in Niagara Falls, it rivals some of the biggest skyscrapers in Toronto. First Canadian Place is Canada’s tallest office building with 72 storeys.
“There’s absolutely a sense of pride. It’s not only a landmark hotel in Niagara Falls, but in all of Canada,” said Vince DiCosimo Jr., whose family owns the Fallsview Boulevard hotel.
