Off topic as usual, in the Review on Saturday was a notice of application for zoning change submitted by Tony Zappatelli (Sheraton on the Falls) for redevelopment of the Loretto Academy property that they own. They are proposing to incorporate the existing historic buildings into a condo/hotel complex of 3 buildings ranging from 32 to 57 stories. The property is presently restricted to 4 stories, but I don’t see how the city can deny this with all the much taller hotels in the immediate area. We’ll see June 8.

I saw that you had posted that on Skysrapercity today Drafty, and I was going to ask you where you heard it from. I guess you just answered my question. Thanks as usual for the heads up!

Of course, the Zapatelli’s are Sheraton Fallsview, not Sheraton on the Falls.
