From the Niagara Falls Review:

Your “great wolf day” just turned into a great “green” day.

Great Wolf Lodge made the temporary adjustment Thursday to the familiar greeting the waterpark’s staff give to customers as it adopted a new set of environmentally friendly practices.

Going green is a responsible way of doing business, saves the resort money on operating costs and it’s something customers have come to expect, said Keith Simmonds, general manager of the Niagara Falls waterpark resort.

“Definitely, in terms of utilities usage it helps and customers wanted to see it. Hands down,” Simmonds said during a tour of the Victoria Avenue hotel.

The company announced Thursday the launch of Project Green Wolf, its own set of policies to minimize the impact it has on the environment. It also announced it has received a four-leaf rating in Audubon International’s Green Leaf certification program.
