From the Buffalo News:
It has taken decades for State Parks and the City of Niagara Falls to cast their lot together in an international city that has seen better days.
A decision to share an employee to help bring off a new city tourist attraction is just the start of what State Parks Commissioner Carol Ash hopes will be a beautiful new relationship between those who run the oldest continuous state park in the nation and those who run the city that surrounds it.
The state has big plans for the Falls in the coming years, Ash told The Buffalo News during a stop in the Falls on March 6.
