From the Niagara Falls Review:

No news is bad news, according to Bob Gale, who’s taking his lack of contact with the Ontario government as a sign they don’t want him back on the Niagara Parks Commission.

After a controversial three-year term, the Niagara Falls businessman sent an email to his supporters Tuesday night thanking them for backing his call for more openness on the commission.

His term on the 12-member commission expired Thursday.
