From the Niagara Falls Review:
A watermain break on Fallsview Boulevard, directly across the street from the Marriott Hotel, caused a bit of inconvenience for a few of the hotels in that area Thursday.
A work crew from the city’s water department was on scene in the morning carrying out repairs.
Traffic was reduced to one lane while workers dug up the road to investigate the extent of the damage.
“We have a watermain break, but we really won’t know what’s happening until we dig down to it,” said John Ricci, while an excavator was removing scoops of dirt and water from a large hole in the road.
