From Niagara This Week:
An estimated 30,000 people braved frigid temperatures last Wednesday to ring in the new year at Queen Victoria Park along the Niagara Parkway. The annual New Year’s Eve bash, put on by the Niagara Parks Commission, brought people from across the region and the world together for an evening of live entertainment, hot chocolate and colourful fireworks.
“This is always a good party,” said Jamie Bennis, who brought her husband and friends down to the park for the festivities.
