New York’s Niagara Falls is among one natural wonder in contention to be named one of the new Seven Wonders of the World.
Nature lovers can vote for their favorite seven wonders from 261 sites in more than 200 countries.
Online voting to select semifinalists runs until July 7th.
A panel of experts will then reduce the list to 21 finalists.
The seven winners will be chosen in another round of public voting.
