A combination of a free concert, fireworks and New Year’s Eve could translate into both the Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort and its sister operation, Casino Niagara, hitting the jackpot on Wednesday.

Niagara Tourism officials expect record crowds to converge on Queen Victoria Park in Niagara Falls, Ont., and that is already translating into many hotels reporting sold-out rooms, restaurants filled to capacity and large number of tourists along Clifton Hill and the Fallsview business districts.
