Niagara Parks in Summer 2008

I know winter has officially started, and we’ve had some pretty brutal weather, but hey… what better time is there to think about summer

This year somehow I ended up with a bunch of complimentary passes to various Niagara Parks attractions. It had only been in the last year or so that I had become reacquainted with the attractions, so I was looking forward to going again. We ended up choosing a beautiful day during the Labour Day long weekend and had a great time.

I hadn’t been on the People Mover in years. My kids loved it. I know many people would love some sort of rail system, but the People Mover is really quite effective. We went up and down the parkway as we went to the White Water Walk, Journey Behind the Falls, and the Incline Railway. During the summer a bus goes by every 15 minutes (or something like that), so you never have to wait very long. The view was beautiful, and the temperature was perfect!

As I mentioned, we visited White Water Walk, Journey Behind the Falls, walked along parkway, and took the Incline Railway up to the top. I don’t think I’ve ever been up the Incline Railway. It too has a beautiful view.
