A giddy, gleeful mood permeated the room, as we were about to see Cheech & Chong’s “Light Up Canada” tour, which marks the duo’s first stage performances in 30 years.
If the comics had used this reunion as nothing more than a chance to cash in on their beloved back catalog of skits, sketches and songs, it would still have been a charming, hilarious experience. But it was a pleasant surprise to learn that these guys have some new material.
