From a Marketwire press release:
IHOP, one of America’s favorite restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner, today announced the opening of its first franchise restaurant in Ontario, Canada, extending the iconic fifty-year old brand into a new international region. The first IHOP in Eastern Canada opened in Niagara Falls, Ontario on Sept. 13.
The corporate page (with very little info) for the Niagara Falls IHOP is here. The address is the same as the Comfort Inn Lundy’s Lane (which we already knew). Assuming this is the right location, the Choice Hotels page for the hotel doesn’t mention the restaurant. You can see a satellite view of the hotel here.
Note: I’ll try to get out today or tomorrow and take a picture of the place.

It is definately at the Comfort Inn, and it is open. They built an addition beside the pool area at the front, and that is where the IHOP is. It also looks like they might be building a parking lot to the side, with frontage on Montrose Rd.
Mmmmmm can’t wait to try them out, I have heard so many good things about their chain in the US!
[...] I did make it out Lundy’s Lane to see the new IHOP. Here are a few [...]
Location needs training! Seems to have missed ‘service’ in service industry. Been three times now and will not be going again. Very disappointed each time, gave some time between visits hoping they could work out some kinks, but honestly seems worse. Menu says ‘Strawberry Festival’ everyday, but waiter ‘Austin’ says not on the weekend, ordered Chicken with broccoli, only hunk of chicken arrived, asked for my broccoli and received an eye roll followed by overdone luke warm broccoli. Great concept for restaurant, but needs work on service and cooking. Good Luck to you.
WHY WOULD ANYONE EAT CHICKEN AND BROCCOLI AT IHOP. EAT WHAT THEY DO BEST
There is now a second IHOP in Niagara Falls it`s right on Fallsview Blvd I have not been to it yet and I’m not sure if it’s even open yet but I see the sign on the old Renaissance Hotel (I think it’s the Fallsview Plaza Hotel?) right next to the Hilton!
I wonder if this replaced the Eastside Mario’s or if it’s a second restaurant added to the expanding hotel?
It is in addition to East Side Mario’s, and I believe that another Dave & Buster’s is also going in there.
WOW I wonder if the Falls is now over saturated with restaurant choices at least I would think so?
I owned an East Side Mario’s for 10 years and it is in no way affiliated with Prime Restaurants (which ESM is owned).
I would think that being listed as the Niagara Falls location on the ESM (Prime Restaurants) website means that it is very affiliated.
We went to the ihop thinking it would be a great place to eat knowing how big it is in the US. After waiting 20 minutes before getting served and about another 1/2 hour before we got our food, the people who were beside us were seated after us and got their meal before us. When we finally got our meal mine had a hair on it which put me off breakfast and when i told the waitress she said oh come on, took it and told me theyd bring another one. Which i had to wait for again. Then when we didn’t leave a tip she caught us at the door and said we were very generous, i think this waitress jsut needs to be thankful to have a job. There arent too many people who would hire a rude ungreatful waitress. She topped them all!!!
THIS I HOP IS TERRIBLE, WE HAD SOME FRIENDS FROM OUT OF TOWN THAT WANTED TO GO, WE WAITED FOREVER TO BE SEATED ,WE NEVER DID GET ANY COFFEE , WHEN WE LOOKED AROUND THERE WERE ABOUT 6 TABLES THAT HAD NOT BEEN SERVED YET. THE WAITRESS WAS BUSY CLEANING OFF TABLE . WE ENDED UP LEAVING ,WE WOULD HAVE BEEN THERE A VERY LONG TIME.

Hi Graham,
IHOP is being asked to begin a phase-out period of battery cage eggs with an introduction of cage-free eggs. Many of their competitors have been able to do it (Burger King, Denny’s, Brueggers, Quizno’s, Wolfgang Puck’s restaurants, Ben and Jerry’s, Hardees, four-hundred universities (the list goes on)). So the question becomes, “why can’t IHOP?”
Consumers are not requesting that much from them, honestly. These are just basic humane standards of care. Cage-free systems offer hens a higher level of animal welfare than do battery cage systems. Making these transitions over time are very reasonable steps in the humane direction.
Unlike battery hens, cage-free hens are able to walk, spread their wings and lay their eggs in nests. It is also extremely practical to still produce the same amount of eggs as would be produced in battery cage systems. Most importantly to the American population, the sanitary conditions are greatly improved in a cage-free system. Alarms should be raised over the severe food safety concerns involved with IHOP’s egg production. In the video of IHOP’s primary supplier, Michael Foods, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H4YZt9zFMnY), one can see dying and decomposed chickens laying on the eggs.
Evidence shows there is more Salmonella risk in caged flocks compared to cage-free flocks. In fact, factory farming is considered the reason Salmonella emerged as such a major egg pathogen in the first place.
According to the CDC, eggs now infect 50,000-110,000 Americans every year. Data shows that operations which cram thousands of hens into tiny cages are not surprisingly up to 20 times more likely than cage-free facilities to harbor Salmonella infection.
Please call IHOP at 1-866-444-5144. Thank you for your time.

$76.oo for breakfast for family of four !
Yes Seventy Six dollars CAN.
WTF !
It’s The Falls man , what do you expect?
I find it’s interesting that most people who have complained about the place are just complaining about the people who serve them. No one is talking about the food. I’ve heard costs, service problems, wait times and a whole lack of enthusiasm. The business is still pretty new, it’s getting it’s legs. If at the first chance it has to get anywhere, we knock the legs out from under it, it won’t get very far. Patience is key. Mind you, I am not saying if you find hair in your food and you ask to have something new and are met with surliness, that you should just grin and bare it. No, I would’ve asked to see the manager. They just need to find the right staff, with the right kind of cohesive attitude. As with everything new, there are problems and setbacks, I just urge everyone to not be so hasty to give up because someone pissed in your waiter’s cornflakes that morning. lol
They did mention the food. Hair in meals, warm soup… They need to fire all those retarded workers and hire new ones. I wouldn’t tip a rude waitress either.
I have eaten in many IHOPs in the USA and have always had good food and great friendly service although somewhat pricey.
My family and I spent the night at the Four Points Sheraton and went to breakfast at the IHOP located in the hotel. Imagine our surprise when we got the bill and it cost us $95.00 for a family of four for breakfast. We will never go back to this restaurant. I would have been happy to pay $50.00 for breakfast. Soft drinks were $4.00 each. Bacon and Eggs were almost $20. Ridiculous!!!
