I noticed on the lift gates at this parking lot today... which I might add is still not open, was the Fallsview Casino insignia pasted on it. So does this mean that they own the property and parking lot?

Actually I think you're right, Courtyard doesn't own the property. Wasn't the Westin supposed to built in the vacinity... but the Westin was supposed to be built be CNH not Skylon.

I dunno Graham. I think this is exactly the kind of unexplainable business decision the Yerich's would make. Invest in the cheap and easy instead of spending money on the tower property where it is badly needed.

Seeing how run-down they let the lobby of the tower get, it seems hard to believe they would do all that work on a parking lot (if it is indeed them who own it).

My sources tell me that the Skylon owns (or owned) that property. It used to be used as their overflow lot when the other 2 were full.

That lot is close enough to the casino an to charge parking. Close enough to the rest of the fallsview district for that matter. I'm betting that you'll see the booths and gates soon.

Are you sure it's the Courtyard that did it? The lot is entirely fenced off from their other lot.

Why on earth did Courtyard decide to do this?? Their original lot never filled. I'm thinking there must be something more to this.
