The Clifton Hill Resorts official blog today posted a picture of the construction that is going on where the Falls Tower used to be:

The weird thing about the blog posting is that rather than coming out and saying exactly what it is going to be, the writer (identified only as falls_blog) states, “…this new build will likely feature an updated version of the Fudge Factory…”. What do you mean “likely”? It’s your property, what are you doing with it? I stated almost a year ago that it was likely to be a new fudge store based on the plans that were publicly available.
Remember that there used to be a fudge store called Fantasy Fudge Factory located where the current Fun Factory is. Then they started making fudge at the small concessions outlet called Sweets & Treats. When this new store opens, HOCO will have a dedicated fudge store again.
One other unrelated note about the Clifton Hill blog… apparently you can now leave comments. The blog has been going for over 2 years, and normally comments were closed for the posts. It appears that they are being left open now. It is a welcome addition!

It will be nice to have the Store back. I hates the concession type store. I did not like waiting in line with people getting food. I felt I was rushed trying to pick my selections. I wonder if it will be like the old store. See them make the fudge see the selections behind the counter and pick up a few other items as well.
