More on Totem and Woodcarving Park

Yesterday I posted an article about the new Niagara Parks Commision attraction. The Buffalo News has an article called World of wooden wonders that explains more about the Totem and Woodcarving Park. It also has a picture of some of the carvings.

As of this morning, the Niagara Parks Commission web site doesn’t have any information.

Thanks Lisa. They must have put this up over the weekend. I drove by Niagara Glen and saw the fence around the “park”. $7 seems a little pricey to me.

The Niagara Parks website also lists the movie night at Oaks Garden Theatre. A lot of the movies seem relatively new to DVD and are all quite familiar with a mix of some older classics like E.T. and Jurassic Park. I’m assuming this movies are free admission?? Can anyone confirm? I think it would be fun to watch a movie here and a great nightly attraction for locals and tourists!

I did a search at niagaraparks.com for movie night and it listed a schedule and what movie it will be showing. Something else to add to our things to do on our next trip. Thanks for the info

    Thanks Lisa,

I actually saw the website and movie listings when I was browsing around the Totem Park webpage. However the Movie page doesn’t make it clear if admission is free.

When I heard about this I thought it was such a great idea. Hopefully next year the showings will be extended, maybe include some Disney and Pixar movies which would be great for families.
