The drunken project manager at the aviary went against the suggestions of the building inspector and for cost savings didn't install the proper pipe required when there is a "burp" in the city waterline. As a result, there was a burp in the city waterline and guess what happened - the improper pipe burst. After the pipe burst, the building owner replaced the inferior pipe with the pipe originally suggested by the building inspector. The building official discovered the pipe had been changed AFTER the pipe burst/water damage - thus no insurance coverage.

Lesson learned - don't hire a drunken project manager.
