As the Niagara Falls Review reported, Jay Cochrane finally did his record-setting walk between the Fallsview Casino and the Skylon Tower. The Saturday walk is supposed to begin at 3:30 pm and he was out there and moving right on time. The large speakers we’ve mentioned previously played an introduction and then played music while he was walking. I was under the impression that he would speak while he walked, but he didn’t this time.
There didn’t seem to be too many people around when he started, but by the time he made it across there were people stopped all over looking up. The whole trip only took just over half an hour. He moved very slowly and never once seemed to be in any trouble.
I’ve included several pictures below. He’s up so high that it’s hard to take good pictures. The zoom on my digital camera isn’t as powerful as I’d like.

I’ve worked with Jay for over a year and a half now. I’ve yet to see what exactly he does. The man is quite the performer…he know’s his stuff. I can’t wait for Niagara in July 07.
